Released when the Saga consisted of just six movies, this set is made to a really high standard and features some of my favorite game pieces from any of the games. They are beautifully cast in metal with some great poses and there are eight characters from across the first two movie trilogies. My favorite is a lovely Yoda piece. Some of the Star Wars Monopoly games have rules that are quite different from Classic Monopoly. So, when asking whether you can trade, you need to refer to the rules that come in the box as they are different depending on which version of Star Wars Monopoly you have. One interesting thing to note about this game – there are no hotels. Instead, houses are replaced by Tie Fighters, and the limit is 5 per property space instead of 4. Choose your character token and put it on GO. Place your chosen symbol card in front of you for everyone to see. Roll a double on your next turn. If you do, you're freel Use the roll to move. You can use up to three turns to try for a double. If you don't roll a double by your third turn in Jail, pay 100 Credits and use your last roll to move as normal.
As soon as every planet space has a Base on it, the game ends. The side with the most Bases on the board wins! Hasbro released this version of the game to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the original Star Wars movie. As you would expect there are a whole host of characters and places from the classic space saga.
