I liked Maggie though I wish she had been stronger against her mother and I liked Jonnie except I felt he was a little too busy with his Casino and while he pled that he loves Maggie I didn’t really see that, it seemed like she came in second to Queen Diva and his casino. All of the characters in this book seemed incredibly unlikable and difficult to relate to. Even the characters that it seemed like the reader was supposed to like, weren't easy to like and were much easier to dislike. I found all the characters acted in an extremely superficial and fake manner, making them difficult to enjoy and believe in. Is it? This book was a roller-coaster of emotions. The main characters were a very nice pairing and the story wasn’t a cliché. At the beginning you may believe that, but the more you’re into the story, you will realize that is not anything like you thought it was going to be. It has so many twists and turns that is impossible to put down until you finish, and even then, you need more. It happened to me.
