About this deal

Dorian Blackwell, is a villain, and rose up from the alleyways of the worst slums in London, to become the powerful man he is today. In conclusion, it is rare to find a book that will claw its way into my heart and make me feel for the characters and everything they’ve gone through. I feel sorry for the child he had been and everything he went through, the trauma he endured and how it affected him. I might never be able to fully express how much I adored this book, but if you’re in the mood for a superbly written historical romance brimming with emotion, angst, sexual tension, with an enigmatic, tortured hero, a kind, strong-willed heroine, and a touching tale of second chances at the core of it, then look no further. You guys had nothing but good things to say about THE HIGHWAYMAN with your talk of tortured heroes and dark romance.

Then when Dougan was 13 and Farah was 10 she told him she was suppose to marry her Daddy's lawyer when she grows up, so Dougan took his little Fairy to a church and married her in a Scottish hand fasting. Their romance is earthy and passionate with lots of sizzling sexual tension and dark, edgy love scenes which may not be to everyone’s taste. Again, it was a case where it started off great, but once we neared the halfway point, it was well on its way to.But when Farah is about to get molested, Dugan protects her and ends up killing the man responsible.

Meeting as small children in an orphanage 11 year old Dougan and 8 year old Farah stole my heart with their sweet, innocent love. After all, she knows better than to leave her fate in the hands of mere men, and decides to take charge of the situation. This poem by Alfred Noyes was one of the very first pieces of poetry I can remember reading as a child. This article includes a list of references, related reading, or external links, but its sources remain unclear because it lacks inline citations.Age 9-11 The Highwayman is a classic narrative poem written in 1906 telling the story of the tragic love story between an unnamed 19 th century highwayman and Bess, a landlord’s daughter. But nothing about the mysterious Dorian Blackwell or his dark reputation is what it seems, and the more Farah gets to know him and the men he trusts the most, the more she senses there is more to her new husband than meets the eye, and that he is hiding something from her. Watching the friendship, the inseparable bond and the innocent young love that developed between the young orphans, Dougan Mackenzie and Farah Leigh, his “Fairy”, was so touching. It is not that I wanted her to be miserable and grieve over her lost love forever, I knew that if the situation is different and her hero is another man, I would want for her to move on.
