About this deal

Foxy is one of the original presenters and directing staff on SAS: Who Dares Wins, a reality television programme where contestants experience a gruelling training course loosely based on a condensed version of the UK special forces selection process. Foxy stars alongside former special forces soldiers Ant Middleton, Matthew ‘Ollie’ Ollerton, Mark ‘Billy’ Billington, and Jay Morton. The programme first broadcast in 2015 is produced by Channel 4, and aired its fifth season in February 2020. In 2019 the first season of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins aired, followed by season 2 in 2020 which also stars Foxy.

In 2019, Fox alongside Sean Johnson kayaked the length of the Yukon river [15] over 1,980 miles in Alaska. The adventure started with a 49-mile hike from Skagway to Lake Bennet, where the kayak journey stretched from Lake Bennett to the Bering Sea, across 48 days. The expedition was unsupported, with Johnson and Fox raising awareness and funds for Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity. [16] Speaking of his fears during the jump, Foxy says: “Everyone thinks because of the job I do on SAS that I am immune to the extreme sh**. But I do get anxious. As part of his service, Jason planned and led operations including hostage rescue, counter terrorism, counter insurgency, maritime counter terrorism, surveillance, body guarding and counter narcotic missions. [2] I dried my eyes and got on with my sh*tty day before driving home, where I sat on the sofa and swigged my way through another bottle of wine, alone, trying to desperately push away what had happened on that cliff edge, while fearfully thinking about what might come next". Off-screen, Jason has undertaken several charity challenges including a record-breaking row across the Atlantic with Team Essence and walking to the North Pole with Will Greenwood MBE and Alan Chambers MBE.Battle Scars tells the story of Jason Fox’s career as an elite operator, from the gunfights, hostage rescues, daring escapes and heroic endeavours that defined his service, to a very different kind of battle that awaited him at home. Outside of his military career, some of Fox’s bigger adventures include rowing across the Atlantic ocean from Lagos, Portugal to Macuro, Venezuela in 2016 with four of his mates Aldo Kane, Matthew Bennett, Ros Johnson and Oliver Bailey. Known as Team Essence, their expedition [13] took the crew 50 days over 3,308 nautical miles, and landed them a record for becoming the first team to row unsupported, crossing the Atlantic Ocean from east to west - from mainland Europe to South America, non-stop from mainland to mainland. Across the journey Team Essence also raised money for the NSPCC. His second book Life Under Fire: How to Build Inner Strength and Thrive Under Pressure [9] was released October 15, 2020. Fox, with his buddy of many years and co-star of SAS: Who Dares Wins Ollie Ollerton, co-founded Break Point – a corporate team building, training and events company. In 2019 Fox and Ollerton went on to launch a fitness and wellbeing app Battle Ready 360 – which focuses on personalised plans for individuals looking to balance mind, body and nutrition. Foxy spent time in the county having therapy sessions in the woods with clinical psychologist Dr Alexandra Lagaisse.

However, Fox explains very comfortably that you are not destined to be a set way. We can all work on different aspects of out life to make sure we get the best out of us in whatever we do in life.

What has he appeared in since leaving the military service?

Russian roulette, probably. Other than something that’s idiotically suicidal, I get a lot out of pushing myself out of my comfort zone. The drop seemed greater now, longer, even more terrifying, as slowly I came to realize that going through with suicide was beyond me, for now at least. What happens when you become your own enemy? How do you keep on fighting when life itself no longer feels worth fighting for? It went really well thank you. The audience loved him and he came across really well.” - Chubb Insurance In 2018, Jason fronted his own ground-breaking series Meet The Drug Lords: Inside The Real Narcos. Hailed as Channel 4’s flagship show of the year, the series took over two years to shoot, featuring amazing editorial and graphic scenes, making never before seen TV.

Into the wild 2019". Archived from the original on 19 September 2021 . Retrieved 28 September 2021. Unflinchingly honest, Battle Scars is a breathtaking account of Special Forces soldiering: a chronicle of operational bravery, and of superhuman courage on and off the battlefield.

In 2016 Jason was part of Team Essence, a five man crew that rowed the longest route across the Atlantic Ocean in aid of the NSPCC. Setting off from Lagos in Portugal it took 50 days to reach Venezuela, completing a 3,308-nautical-mile journey and becoming the first ever team to row non-stop and unsupported across the Atlantic from mainland Europe to mainland South America. [5] Jason has planned and led operations including hostage rescue, counter-terrorism, counterinsurgency, maritime counter-terrorism, surveillance, bodyguarding and counter-narcotics missions.

Adeleke was born into riches in Nigeria, but following the death of his father and the unjust seizing of his family’s wealth by the Nigerian Government, Remi and his family relocated to Bronx, New York in 1987. After years of making “regrettable decisions”, he joined the Navy in 2002 and later joined the Navy SEALs. Although, Adeleke nearly didn’t make it to the military. “I had two warrants out for my arrest – but the recruiter who was also from the Bronx, took a chance on me”, he explains. It took him two attempts to pass his SEAL training, almost dying during his first Hell Week.

In 2017, Fox co-authored a book SAS: Who Dares Wins: Leadership Secrets from the Special Forces [7], with his fellow TV presenters and Special Forces soldiers Anthony Middleton, Matthew "Ollie" Ollerton and Colin Maclachlan. All went well with Jason, thank you and he was very well received with the attendees. Thanks so much for helping me sort it all at such short notice too!" - Savills Hotels
